  • Routinely remove ashes from the base of wood burning fireplace between fires.
  • Ensure the burner of natural gas or propane fireplaces are clear of debris prior to use.

Warranty

  • Greentree provides a five-year warranty against any major structural defects for fireplaces.
  • Greentree provides a one-year warranty against any craftsmanship defects for fireplaces.
  • A manufacturer’s warranty may exist on certain components.
  • Greentree is not liable for any cracking, chipping, discolouration, and/or disfiguration of material that may occur after installation.

  • Q: Does my fireplace require a permit?
    A: It is likely that your fireplace does not require a permit however we recommend checking with your local municipality.
  • Q: How big can my fireplace be?
    A: If your fireplace does not require a permit then the options are limitless. Fireplaces can either be purchased as a kit, which provides you with set sizes or they can be custom built specifically for your site!
  • Q: I have rock on my house, can the fireplace have the same rock?
    A: If the rock is still available for purchase, it should not be a problem to install the same rock as a façade on the fireplace!
